HEETCH :

Heetch is a ride-sharing app with a simple mission: help you enjoy your night out. The service is open every night and our drivers are doing everything to make your ride, and your night, unforgettable and friendly: good music, candies and beverages in every car!

The platform is growing very fast and we face a lot of challenges with thousands of rides every night in Paris, Lyon, Lille, Warsaw and soon many more cities in Europe.

Thus, we need engineers to help scale our Kheops team, focused on operationnal matters in order to optimize supply and demand, face real-world edge cases, handle thousands of transactions per second and predict the future.

In a nutshell, we have a lot of exciting things to do, so we’re looking for the right people to grow with us!

What you’ll do :

Optimize our operational platform.
Develop internal tools to make our support even more awesome.
Work closely with the operation team to optimize our growth support.
Extract selected features to dedicated microservices and contribute to improving and optimizing our architecture.
Contribute to operationnal support and customers enthusiasm.
Things we’d like to experiment :

Erlang, Elixir and Phoenix
Requirements :

Ruby-on-Rails or Go in production environments
Experience working with databases, relational (PostgreSQL) or NoSQL
Rigor in test coverage, and other best practices
Great oral and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a startup environment
Bonus points :

Exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application and microservices
Contributions to open source projects
Exposure to real-time technology problems
Notions of Go
Experience with Docker
