We're hiring a lead software engineer to takeover and enhance our existing tech base.

-- About The DApact --

We build a blockchain-enabled platform for the microfinance industry, aiming to create direct, unbiased and transparent bounds between lenders, local intermediaries and borrowers. The platform lets offshore lenders (crowdfunding platforms, development agencies, foundations) send stablecoin-denominated loans to microborrowers in low income countries, with no custodial middleman. Partnering local lenders (MFIs, NGOs, pawnshops) provide trustless underwriting services through our AI-assisted tools.

Our MVP is 70% completed, with pilots running with partnering institutions (crowdlending platform, pawnshops, NGO) and 15 existing customers from previous pilot.

The DApact will soon be processing the first ever microloans fully originated and disbursed through the blockchain. Big time.

-- About the position --

The position is based out of Cambodia, our test market for the coming 6 to 12 months. It is expected the team will relocate after the pilots.

Team members are working pro-bono until seed capital has been raised (round expected within 6 months).

Up to 30% of the share capital will be allocated to the lead software engineer, depending on profile.

Expected availability within 30 days.

-- Skills required --

Strong technical background + entrepreneur mindset + ability to communicate with the public (Medium, social networks) and our partners (meetings and all).

You're looking at becoming a prominent partner in the project. Key qualities are creativity, autonomy, dedication and management/project mgmt skills. One of the best thing about leading a company is we can choose who we work with, so good chemistry with the crew will be a must.

5 years experience in software development is probably necessary.

You'll be 1 in 2 developers in the team. The initial work will be a takeover and enhancement of a ReactJS PWA, and building up blockchain-related features.

Core technical skills:
- JS + ReactJS + NodeJS
- Web3.js and good understanding of blockchain, HD cryptowallet and smart contract tools
- Front-end development and decent design skills
- Decent skills in server management
- Basic mastering of NoSQL databases

Additional tech we work / plan to work with:
- C or C++ and Python for Computer Vision, OCR and Speech-to-Text
- Angular
- Dharma.js
