TextMe Inc. was created in March 2011 with a single vision: Offering rich mobile communication (text, calls and mobile data) for free to anyone in the world.
In 2011, we made it possible to use one application to send free text messages to anyone in your contact list at no cost.
In 2012, TextMe became the first application to offer SMS, rich messaging, voice and video calling on both iOS and Android.
In 2013, we extended our reach to more than 100 countries for voice and SMS so you could talk for free to pretty much anyone in the world.
In 2014, we launched FreeTone, the first application on both iOS and Android to offer completely free SMS and voice calls to any number in the US and Canada. We also created TopTopUp, the first application that lets users send mobile top-up to more than 100 countries for free.
In 2015, we got one step closer to our vision with the launch of TextMe Up, which let our user have multiple phone numbers (say work and personal) and the Launch of TextMe on the web
In 2016, we are rolling out free sponsored mobile data around the world. With our new app Simkarma, anyone in India can earn free mobile internet across all Indian operators.
And we are just getting started....
