Although 3D television was lots of promises, it seems it hasn't generated the enthusiasm that everybody expected. Now while TV makers still bet on the technology, a new generation of display is coming to the scene: Head Mounted Display.
With companies like Fove, Occulus rift, and Morpheus, HMDs seem to bring entertainment to another dimension.
Will HMD technology follow the same path as 3D TV or will they revolutionize entertainment and the way we consume media?
We will also try to find out how HMD can contribute to enhance storytelling.
